November - Memory Walk. Jerry Terwilliger is heading up the club’s effort for this worthy cause.  Both of Jimmy Buffett’s parents were effected by this disease and it’s near and dear to the Parrot Head World heart.  November 13, 2010 at Hero’s Harbor, Broadway at the Beach by Margaritaville.  The website is:  www.alz.org/memorywalk Go to the site and click on the State of SC then the MB walk info.  You can get sign up info there as well.  Hand Out Brochure and Sponsorship Form Available here.

November 21st-Annual Coast of Carolina Oyster Roast. Location will be at the Sandy Monkey 3034 Hwy 17 S. Garden City (843) 357-0208  in Garden City Beach, South Carolina; and let’s say 12-5pm.  Share your photos and memories from the MOTM and Key West with your fellow members. Bring an unopened toy for our Toys for Tots drive. Laidback Larry will be performing from 1-4 pm. Bring a side dish to share. Oysters will be provided and steamed by Ron & Randy so bring your shucking utensils.

December 5-Wrapping Party.  Margaritaville Café Patio from 12-5 pm. This year we will be making up baskets for the elderly.

December 31-New Year’s Eve Party. Join us in celebration to sending off the year and welcoming in the 2011 in Parrot Head glory! To be held at the Holiday Inn •1601 North Ocean Blvd • Surfside Beach, SC. Entertainment provided by Stringwood.

November 4-7, 2010 Meeting of the Minds   Registration is now open!  The national meeting is at the end of the road in Key West.  The theme this year is "Gypsies in the Palace".  Go to www.Phip.com and then MOTM for more information.
